Portrait studies

It’s not easy capturing likenesses, no matter the medium. In a recent set of courses taken with a wonderful teacher, Michael Janzen, I am learning some techniques using charcoal and pastel. You will find here a few drawings done in class, and a few from outside. Now thinking about oil paint . . .
