Weaving pouches for October Made by Hand show

A group of artists from South Haven, St. Ann’s, and the North Shore have formed the Cape Breton Made by Hand Artisans Collective. We are having our first show October 10-11 in the South Haven Community Hall. I’ll post the flyer for the show in the next post.

Since that show overlaps with the Fibre Festival, I am weaving like mad. Over the last two days I wove fabric for 16 small pouches. So fun! I have some hand stitching to do, but the main work is done. Here they are in process.
