Victoria County Creates Gallery

The new gallery in Baddeck, N.S., near where I live, opened up at the beginning of July. There are 36 artists represented in the gallery. Victoria County Creates Gallery is located on the main street where the old “Blue Heron Gift Shop” was located. The gallery is run by Wendy Smith and Courtenay Smith who are doing an amazing job. They are very supportive of the artists they represent. Occasionally I do weaving demos in the store which is fun. It is always a treat to meet the visiting artists there. My piece, completed this winter, “Energy, Light and Song” is now on display in the gallery. See blog posts from March and April this year for descriptions of this piece and its development.
