Knitting and painting

Having left all my weaving supplies in Cape Breton, my hands were missing yarn. So, I bought some wool and began to knit touques. I haven’t knitted in years so it is taking me a while to get some skill level back and time to remember how to read a pattern.

With the strong focus on weaving this summer, I have gotten rusty at painting and drawing. It was lovely to get back to life drawing recently. And it was fun to get out the watercolours and start dabbling – just playing at this point. Probably a good thing I am not a potter – whew, the tea looks hot in that teapot!!
