PROFILE

Welcome! You will find postings of my work on this site. I am a watercolour artist and weaver creating from my studio on beautiful Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. The studio is located just off the Cabot Trail ten minutes drive from the Gaelic College.  My work is available directly from my studio, at the Victoria County Creates Gallery in Baddeck, and at the Celtic Colours Fibre Festival held annually in October in Baddeck. I also teach tapestry and weaving in Toronto during the winter season. Hi Jane,

My name is keren Menashe and I’m a midwife/ creative human living and practicing in the madawaska valley. I got your name off the eweknit site. I was hoping that my vacation time would align with some classes but it doesn’t. I’m approaching you to see if we can set up a couple of private weaving lessons.
I am a beginner weaver. I recently borrowed a rigid heddle loom and made my first piece. I am interested in all sorts of weaving. I’ll be in toronto and available on May 15-18 and aagain on the 22,23. If any of those dates work for you I would be excited to book a couple of lessons and pick your brain about looks and techniques:)
You can reach me at 613-698-1771 or by email at eh.byebye@gmail.com
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Kindest regards and gratitude for what you put out in the world,
    Keren
